Asked by reporters who will succeed Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee as Railways Minister if her party wins the elections in West Bengal, the Home Minister replied, “You should consult me tomorrow on that.
The results of the assembly elections will be declared on Friday, and the Trinamool Congress has obtained favorable results in the exit polls. Banerjee is the party’s leading candidate.
According to sources, another Trinamool Congress member will replace Banerjee.
